PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Standard:

No Exposure standards set by the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission.

Suggested Exposure Standard-, 10ppm (nuisance particulates)

Exposure Standard is the time weighted average concentration of the work atmosphere over a normal 8 hour work day and 40 hour

work week. Nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed to this level, day after day, without adverse effect. These Exposure

Standard’s are issued as guidelines for good practice. All atmospheric contamination should be kept to as low a level as is

practically possible.

Engineering Controls:

Avoid generating and inhaling dust. Use with adequate ventilation.

Mechanical ventilation not usually considered necessary.

Personal Protection:

Use rubber or PVC gloves and chemical goggles when handling this product or its solutions.

Wear approved dust respirator if excessive dusting occurs.

Always wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.

Flammability:

Non flammable.

Environment:

Moderately hazardous to the environment, due to alkalinity of the product.

Storage & Transport:

Check containers are clearly labeled.

Store away from acids or reducing agents.

This material is not considered a Dangerous Good under current regulations.

Spills & Disposal:

Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid generating or inhaling dusts. While decanting or repacking, ensure to wear a face

mawk P1 or P2 classification.

Wear overalls, rubber or PVC gloves and boots along with chemical goggles.

Sweep up and place into clean, labeled containers.

Wash down residual material with plenty of water.

Fire/Explosion Hazard:

Non flammable.

May release chlorine and phosphorus oxides as decomposition products.

Extinguish any adjacent fire by methods appropriate to the area.
