Not considered a feature of normal use.

Treat symptomatically as for strong alkalis.

Exposure Standards
Exposure Standards, 2mg/m3 Ceiling NOHSC (as Potassium hydroxide)
Exposure standard is the time weighted average concentration of the work atmosphere over a normal 8 hour work day and a 40 hour
work week. Nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed to this level, day after day, without adverse effect. These Exposure
Standards are issued as guidelines for good practice. All atmospheric contamination should be kept to as low a level as is
practically possible. These Exposure Standards should not be used as fine lines between safe and dangerous concentrations.
Ceiling Value - is the concentration that should not be exceeded even instantaneously.
Ventilation:
No special ventilation required.
Avoid generation and inhalation of mists or aerosols.
Personal Protection:
MUST BE
Wearing of the following personal protective equipment
Chemical goggles, face shield and PVC or rubber gloves.
Always wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.
Flammability:
Non combustible. Non flammable.
Environment:
No particular hazard to the environment.
