Acute Effects:
Swallowed:
May cause irritation to mouth, throat and stomach.
May be harmful if swallowed.
May cause sever burns to the mouth, throat and stomach.
Ingestion can cause nausea and vomiting.
Eyes:
Moderate eye irritant. Liquid will cause burns
May cause watering of the eyes and conjunctivitis.
Skin
Practically non-harmful. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to irritation.
Will have defatting effect on the skin.
Inhaled:
Inhalation of mists or aerosols can produce respiratory irritation.
Not considered a feature of normal use.
FIRST AID:
Swallowed:
Give plenty of water to drink. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.
Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Eyes:
Immediately irrigate with copious quantity of water for at least 15 minutes.
Eyelids to be held open.
Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Skin:
Immediately wash affected areas with copious quantities of water.
Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use.
If irritation occurs seek medical advice.
Inhaled:
For all but the most minor symptoms arrange for patient to be seen be a doctor as soon as possible - either on site or at
the nearest hospital. Not considered a feature of normal use.
