Storage & Transport:
Classified as Class 8 - Corrosive in Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail.
Keep containers securely sealed and protected against physical damage.
Store in a cool place.
Packaging & Labeling. POISON - Schedule 6 D.G. Class 8 - Corrosive.
Spills and Disposal:
Isolate leaking containers and stop leak if safe to do so.
Avoid accidents - clean up immediately.
Wear protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contamination.
Wash small spills to drain with water.
Fire/Explosion Hazard:
Non flammable. Non combustible.
Can decompose on heating, liberating toxic fumes.
If safe to do so, remove containers from path of fire.
Keep containers cool with water spray.
Fire fighters should wear full protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Use water fog (or if unavailable fine
water spray), foam, dry agent (carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder)
