ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Avoid contact with spilled or released material. Avoid generating dust. Shut off leaks, if possible without

personal risks. Isolate hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary or unprotected personnel. Eliminate all

sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions

Do not allow product to reach drains sewers or waterways.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up

Contain and sweep/shovel up spills with dust binding material or use an industrial vacuum cleaner. Transfer

to a suitable labelled container and hold for safe disposal. Dispose of in accordance with regional regulations.

Precautions for safe handling

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not ingest and avoid breathing dust. Wash thoroughly after

handling. Handle open containers in well-ventilated area. Do not empty into drains. Do not eat, drink or

smoke in contaminated areas. Before eating, drinking or smoking, remove contaminated clothing and wash

hands.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Do not store near oxidising agents and alkalis.

when not in use. A system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep exposure as low as

possible.

Use solvent resistant gloves, nitrile for longer term protection or PVC and

neoprene for incidental splashes.

No special protection is ordinarily required beyond standard issue work

clothes.
