HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Acute Effects:
Swallowed:
May cause severe burns to mouth, throat and stomach.
Can kill if swallowed.
Ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain and/or convulsions.
Eyes:
A sever eye irritant.
Highly corrosive to eyes.
May cause conjunctivitis, corneal burns and ulceration.
Contamination of eyes can result in permanent injury.
Skin
Harmful in contact with skin.
Corrosive to skin - may cause skin burns.
Will have a defatting effect on the skin.
Inhaled:
Inhalation may be harmful.
May cause irritation to the mouth, nose, and throat.
Not considered a feature of normal use.
Chronic Effects:
Repeated or prolonged skin contact can cause chronic dermatitis.
FIRST AID:
Swallowed:
Give plenty of water to drink. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.
Seek medical attention.
Eyes:
Irrigate with copious quantity of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open.
Seek medical assistance.
