Toxicity Data:
This product is considered as harmful but to the best of our knowledge the toxicological properties have not been thoroughly
investigated.
Acute Effects:
Swallowed:
May cause irritation to the mouth, throat and nose.
Ingestion can result in diarrhoea.
Eyes:
A moderate eye irritant.
May cause conjunctivitis, corneal burns and ulceration.
Skin
Practically non-harmful.
Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to dermatitic effects.
Will have a defatting effect on the skin.
Inhaled:
May cause irritation to the nose and throat.
Not considered a feature of normal use.
Chronic Effects:
No known adverse chronic health effects but unnecessary exposure to any chemical should be avoided. This product as with any
chemical may enhance allergic conditions, but there are no known medical conditions which might be aggravated by exposure to
this product.
FIRST AID:
Swallowed:
Rinse mouth thoroughly with water immediately and give water to drink.
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.
If vomiting occurs, give further water to achieve effective dilution.
Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Eyes:
Immediately irrigate with copious quantity of water for at least 15 minutes.
Eyelids to be held open.
Seek medical assistance if symptoms persist.
Skin:
Wash contaminated skin with soap and water.
Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use.
Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Inhaled:
Investigate possible misuse of material.
Not considered a feature of normal use.
