PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Limits:

Exposure standard 25ppmm; 18mg/m (NOHSC/ASCC) (Ammonia)

Exposure standard 1000ppm; 1900mg/m (ACGIH) (Ethanol)

Exposure standard is the time weighted average concentration of the work atmosphere over a normal 8 hour work day and a 40 hour

work week. Nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed to this level, day after day, without adverse effect. These exposure

standard are issued as guidelines for good practice. All atmospheric contamination should be kept to as low a level as is practically

possible. These exposure standard should not be used as fine lines between safe and dangerous concentrations.

Engineering Controls:

Use with adequate ventilation.

Avoid generation and inhalation of mists or aerosols.

Personal Protection:

Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Avoid contact with eyes.

Always wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.

Flammability:

Combustible. Aqueous solutions containing not more than 24% ethanol by volume are not considered dangerous goods.

SAFETY HANDLING INFORMATION

Storage & Transport:

Ensure containers are clearly labeled. Keep containers securely sealed and protected against physical damage.

Store away from sources of heat or ignition.

This product is non hazardous and is not considered as a Dangerous Good in the Australian Code

for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail.

Spills and Disposal:

No special procedures usually required.

Isolate leaking containers and stop leak if safe to do so.

Flush to sewer as a greatly diluted solution.

Fire/Explosion Hazard:

Hazardous decomposition products of heating and/or burning :

Carbon monoxide

Carbon dioxide.

Extinguish fire with the following :

AFFF

Use carbon dioxide, use foam, alcohol foam

Use water fog

Keep containers cool with water spray.
